Dalton Parish Council express our deepest sympathies for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Her majesties dedication to the United Kingdom and other territories has been unparalleled and we thank her for her dedicated service.
Dalton Parish Council will observe the mourning period, which will last until the day after the funeral, whilst continuing to support our community. As a sign of respect our scheduled meeting for Thursday 15th September will be postponed to 29th September.
Condolence books are available at Dalton Parish Hall and Sunnyside Community Centre and are available for signing Monday- Friday 9.30am- 12.30pm; in addition there are condolence books in locals schools that have agreed to have them which are:- Flanderwell, Trinity Croft and Dalton Foljambe.
Floral tributes to HM Queen Elizabeth II may be laid around the Cenotaph, Dalton Parish Hall and the flower cart at Sunnyside Community Centre.
God save the King!
